Procore Recognized for Top Company Culture by Entrepreneur

Today, Procore was acknowledged for having one of the top company cultures in the United States, in a ranking of over 100 companies compiled by Entrepreneur Magazine. The Entrepreneur Top Company Culture award was announced earlier this morning and we’re thrilled to have been listed #2 this year! The full list is available on Entrepreneur.com.

This recognition was truly an honor as the results were determined by our employees themselves. Our greatest competitive advantage is our culture. Every employee can state the values and give examples of how they inform how we operate. It is what sets Procore apart and attracts the best talent who, in turn, exemplify what our founders have worked so hard to create.

This is Procore’s second year being recognized for our strong culture. We continue to climb the list as we were ranked #5 on last year’s.

Procore’s core values of openness, optimism and ownership were selected several years ago through an employee-led process as the company began to experience rapid growth. You’ll often hear us say that we aim to make Procore the “best place you’ve ever worked.” Based on the results of Entrepreneur’s culture survey, it appears that most of our employees agree.

"Great company cultures don’t happen on their own. They’re the result of great leadership, and a conscious effort to make everyone on a team feel engaged and important,” says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur. “The honorees on our 2017 list are proof that strong cultures make even stronger companies. Entrepreneurs at all levels can draw inspiration from them.”

Establishing core values early on and building a company from the inside out has been a philosophy that we believe sets Procore apart. A strong, engaging culture is the foundation for the business as much as hitting quarterly sales targets and launching new products. Culture is the glue that keeps us all aligned with our goals and enables us to achieve our objectives.

As the leader of the People Team here at Procore, I am very proud of the culture we have worked hard to build and nurture even as we have rapidly grown in both headcount and locations. As Procore expands, we will continue to make the investment in our employees a priority using our core values as our guide.
