I'm part of a group called the USC Health Systems Improvement Collaborative (HSIC), and we're holding a free workshop series and business plan competition in Spring 2015 about health services innovation and entrepreneurship. We're looking for entrepreneurs interested in taking their ideas to the health services space to apply.

The goal of this series is to ground accepted participants in the practical application of entrepreneurial business planning, financing, and strategy principles against the backdrop of a highly regulated and complex health care services delivery environment. Participants will then compete for at least $20,000 in seed funding for their ideas.

If you are interested in applying or would like more information, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Health Services Innovation Series" and I will reply with our event flyer and a link to the application. Applications are due by Friday, January 9, 2015, at 5pm PST.
