Top LA Startup Events This Week
There’s always something going on in the City of Angels. Here’s five events that should be on your radar:

1) SM New Tech Network October 2013. Santa Monica New Tech meets monthly to showcase new technology from LA and around the world followed by networking. 5-7 presenters show demo of their technology and answer questions (5+5min). Marvel at the latest in cool technology! Watch some slide decks and ask questions!
2) Agile Tools Startup Workshop+Coaching. This workshop focuses specifically on "Agile tools for Entrepreneurs and Start-Ups". It speaks to the needs of product ownership and how you can utilize Agile methodology tools and processes for new product development, team building, and overall successful execution whether it is a proof of concept or building out an existing online or mobile application.
3) Long Beach Tech Mixture. Mingle with those who are shaping the tech industry in Long Beach. The hours of the meetup are 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Harvelle's is in the cellar below Congregation Ale House.
4) NEXT LA Startup Weekend. The NEXT program by Startup Weekend is coming back to LA in October and as a preview, there will be a free meet-and-greet at Coloft in Santa Monica with the coordinators, entrepreneurs already enrolled.
5) Social Media Marketing Made Simple. In this introductory session, CoLoft covers strategies and best practices to get the most out of your social media activities.
