I just found Built in LA through another website and now I'm wondering where it's been all my life. This site is exactly what I've been looking for — a group of startups and great companies I could potentially join to help advance my career. I know I have many skills, and so many different interests in technology that I know there must be somewhere I'll fit in.
I love design and just started learning how to design mobile apps and program them with Swift. My background is in Web Design, but I'm more motivated than ever to make a transition to the field of Information Security. I've always been interested, but I'd love to play a part in forensics to help stop these disasters before they start.
I need a focus, but more than anything I need to start somewhere and see where it leads me. Everyone started somewhere. I guess you could say I'm more in the middle, ready to continue down whatever path is ahead.
