Everybody knows how painful and frustrating it could be moving stuff around, especially those large pieces of furniture that were made not to fit in your car. When that happens you end up either renting a truck, hiring professionals to do the job or asking a friend with a big car for a favor -may be not even a friend, just that neighbor who drives a pickup.  Now you have one more option: Buddytruk. It's an Uber-like service for social hauling and on-demand moving.

The app was launched on the App Store last Friday (08/01/2014) and so far its services are available to West Los Angeles residents. More than a hundred people have signed up already in L.A., and Buddytruk plans to expand quickly. By the end of the year this company based in Santa Monica wants to operate in 5 cities across the country.

WestJournal interviewed them back in June but now is time to see how Buddytruk works. Watch CEO Brian Foley introducing the app and getting help to move some furniture
