Montgomery & Co.’s 10th annual Montgomery Technology Conference will be welcoming 1000 attendees, mostly made up of senior executives and CEOs, to the two-day Santa Monica conference on March 6 and 7. The guest list, which is highly selective and invitation-only, has filled up quickly this year, but there are still a few invites left for the second part of Day 2. Join Built In LA on Thursday afternoon for a panel celebrating the growing LA startup community and a networking reception sponsored by Cooley.
Besides providing these high-caliber networking opportunities for attendees, the Montgomery Technology Conference allows Montgomery & Co. to solidify its connections with the LA tech community, Catherine Calleja, Montgomery & Co. director of marketing, said.
“For us, as an investment bank, the branding helps us to essentially establish ourselves as a bank of choice for companies,”Calleja said.
Calleja said this year’s programs will address persistent security, consolidation in the SAAS and software sector, next generation e-commerce and targeted marketing services. Not to mention there will be an emphasis on cloud innovation and mobile commerce because, as we all know, “2013 will be the year mobile commerce and mobile applications explode.”
Your invitation to Day 2 will admit you to a panel specificallyexplore how digital platforms, such as the emerging YouTube ecosystem, are impacting traditional media models and changing viewer consumption habits (a topic that is surely relevant to all digital media startups in LA). We hope you can join us and the LA startup community on March 7 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows; registration closes Friday, March 1 at 5 p.m., so make sure you claim your invite and register now.
