A story from the Atlantic today features the unfortunate, unaware, and unhelpful navel gazing of one of their reporters. Do reporters still exist? Have they all been replaced by bloggers or something worse?
Regardless, 'the media' has long ignored its theoretical obligation to the people of our great nation to provide accurate information even if its bad for ratings. President-elect Trump is the logical conclusion of that process, which has been underway since at least the sixties. What's to be done now by 'the media' is not even more conceited and ineffective whining about how wrong they've been done because their man lost, but instead, if you'll pardon my French, for them to shut the fuck up and do their job.
Start telling the truth. Stop telling what sells. Period. It's not easy, but it is simple.
