There’s nothing exciting about car repair. From obtaining quotes to sitting in the waiting room, the whole process can shave years off of your life. It's an outdated industry but it’s finally time someone injected some technological convenience.

CarLove.co, an on-demand mechanic service, launched in beta today in Los Angeles, promising the best car service quotes with the least stress.

The service allows users to search through local mechanics and receive estimates through the app. Once selected, a CarLove driver is dispatched to alleviate the hassle of bringing the car into the garage. After a physical inspection, the client receives a no-obligation quote which, if agreed upon, is charged on their credit card.

“My experience with car maintenance was in no way unique,' CEO Mike Buchko said in a statement. "So my hope is that CarLove can help drivers find an economical, stress-free way of dealing with a problem we all have to face.”

Despite their large network of mechanics, the company is completely bootstrapped, but is using the beta to heighten interest with potential investors.

“We’re actively talking with everybody to see who this idea resonates with,” adds Buchko. “And hopefully we’ll find some like-minded investors.”
