Brent Bushnell, co-founder of Arts District-based tech entertainment outfit Two Bit Circus will be the keynote speaker at this month's Another Reality event. Mayor Eric Garcetti's Small Business Summit 2018, Wednesday, May 2 at 8 a.m.

Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilmember Curren Price and representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Los Angeles Board of Public Works will be on hand for the mayor's Small Business Summit this Wednesday. Attendees will have access to panels on raising capital, resources for small businesses in LA, certification assistance, and a continental breakfast and lunch.

Technology & Branding Featuring CAA's Brand Studio, Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m.

This Wednesday, General Assembly Santa Monica is hosting Alice Ann Wilson and Sandra Kang of CAA-GBG's prestigious Brand Studio to discuss the constantly-evolving digital landscape and how brands are utilizing technology to stand out. Between the two of them, Wilson and Kang have worked on Obama's 2008 Vote for Change — the first political campaign to win Ad Age's Marketer of the Year — Burberry, Coca-Cola, Samsun and more.
