Intellect, a quality management software provider headquartered in Los Angeles, announced its acquisition of Zaptic, a Manchester, England-based company that provides a digital platform for frontline manufacturing workers. The deal will expand Intellect’s capabilities across process and discrete manufacturing.

Zaptic’s toolset digitizes complex frontline processes like production checks and continuous improvement programs while offering insights that can help streamline operations and improve quality and safety. By integrating this into Intellect’s software, the combined platform will help frontline teams collaborate through AI-driven workflows.

Intellect will also introduce Connected Frontline Worker capabilities to its U.S. customer base as part of the deal, enabling manufacturers to benefit from real-time visibility across factory floors to inform enterprise-level decision making. Zaptic’s team will continue to operate from the U.K., expanding Intellect’s European presence and enhancing global customer support.
