The Los Angeles startup Evolve Media has introduced INglide, a new addition to its line of online video advertising solutions. With INglide, Evolve attempts to make in-video ads less intrusive and more effective, in a time when only the most advanced video advertising can hold most viewers' attention for more than a few seconds.
INglide joins the rest of Evolve Media’s Video INgagement suite, which combines pre-roll with original video content. After a user has moved from the top of a page into the heart of its content, the INglide player will move out from the side of the page when the user is in-view. It aims to make advertising a graceful and enjoyable part of the overall viewing experience.
“With viewability top of mind within our organization, we wanted to bring more accountable media products to market,” said Brian Fitzgerald, Evolve's CEO and cofounder, in a statement. “Our goal is to work with clients to distribute content within the actual content experience that is relevant and valuable, whether that content is produced through Evolve Studios or is client supplied branded content. INglide allows us to deliver pre-roll and branded entertainment to consumers that are actually engaged with the content they love.”
A vertical content publishing company, Evolve Media uses proprietary advertising and publishing technologies to build publishing brands under two umbrellas. CraveOnline Media is geared toward men while TotallyHer Media caters to women. Evolve is quickly progressing – it introduced INgage, a large-format video solution, just a few months ago.
Evolve Media's video division, SpringBoard Video, powers the entire Video INgagement suite. It functions as a full-service video publishing technology service for publishers and a premium advertising solution for advertisers across a monthly audience of over 190 million in-stream video streams.
