COPE Health Solutions Welcomes New Chief Medical Officer

With this hire, the company aims to improve value-based care performance across provider networks.

COPE Health Solutions, a Los Angeles-based company focused on improving healthcare delivery and access, has named Dr. Richard Petrucci as its new chief medical officer. 

In his new role, Petrucci will oversee medical management, clinical and financial analytics, value-based care programs and health plan enablement. According to a news release, he will also lead CHS’s newly launched Care at Home Solutions program, which is designed to support patients with multiple chronic conditions and high healthcare utilization. 

Petrucci brings extensive experience as a CMO, medical director and executive leader within health plans and fully delegated independent physician associations. Before joining CHS, Petrucci was the CMO at SOMOS Innovation, where he led healthcare improvement initiatives in the downstate New York region.
