ChowNow, a company offering online ordering solutions for independent restaurants, has announced Kanika Soni as its new chief executive officer. With over two decades of experience in the consumer tech industry, Soni has held leadership roles at notable companies such as Disney, Tesla and Gilt Groupe.
Soni most recently served as chief commercial officer at Tripadvisor where she helped rebuild the business following losses due to Covid-19. As the new CEO at ChowNow, she will focus on strategic initiatives to accelerate ChowNow’s growth in the online restaurant delivery sector.
Under Soni’s leadership, ChowNow plans to expand its reach and improve its services for restaurant partners and diners. The company helps about 20,000 local restaurant partners across North America fuel sustainable growth for their delivery and takeout businesses through online ordering technology, data insights and marketing services.
