1. How it started:
An international businessman who has worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years, Vance Xiang found frustration when it took a very long time to locate a reliable automotive repair shop that is not outrageously priced.
As a businessman and entrepreneur at heart, he truly knew that “time is money.” He also understood the value of a system that brings trust between customers and businesses. He decided to create CAKNOW Technology, a customer friendly automotive repair platform that brings automotive repair service to everyone’s fingertips.
2. The revolution
CAKNOW envision itself to become one of the biggest assets to the automotive industry. We want to better the automotive service industry to a easy and accessible process that service seekers and providers can both use on their smartphone.
CAKNOW envision a localized global community that will simplify service providers’ job from customer acquisition, equipment and parts financing and delivery, to record keeping. 3. Seed Round Investment
CAKNOW has acquired $1 Million seed round investment from Bojiang Capital
Management Group. Founded in 2015, CAKNOW is now under development and will release to the public in early June. CAKNOW uses a real-time platform to connect customers with automotive service providers.
4. The Product
The launch of this product will bring the automotive service to a new era that will simplify the service process tremendously for both customers and service providers.
Vehicle owners can use the app to schedule maintenance service, call for emergency help, and book appointment on a touch of a button. The company aspires to become the problem solver for the automotive service professionals.
According to Vance, service professionals will receive $110 for achieving their first $500 service. Customers will also receive $10 off oil change and $2 for referral.
