Anduril, a Southern California company providing autonomous defense technology to the U.S. military and its allies, recently secured $2.5 billion in fresh funding at a post-money valuation of $30.5 billion, according to an interview published by Bloomberg. Founders Fund led the Series G round.
The company’s capabilities stem from its core system Lattice OS, an AI-powered sensemaking platform that turns numerous data streams into a real-time 3D command and control center. Anduril’s work focuses on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, such as AI, computer vision, sensor fusion and networking solutions.
Anduril’s latest capital injection will go toward furthering this mission, Trae Stephens, Anduril executive chairman and co-founder, said in the Bloomberg interview. With the largely oversubscribed raise, the company aims to invest in manufacturing and production as well as grow its team and expand its infrastructure.
