You shouldn’t have to repeat a purchase several times before you finally receive a reward. We have been trained to do just that. “Come back again and again, and on your 10th visit we’ll give you something back.” It’s time to disrupt the outdated chain and enforce some change.

It all began with an inkling that something wasn’t right. Okay, so it was more than an inkling. I am a loyal patron to my favourite spots in LA:  I visit four or more times a week, they know my name, I bring them more business… but I have to wait before I get something back?!? Word-of-mouth is the best marketing tool out there, so why aren’t you getting paid for being their best marketer? You wouldn’t go to work day in and day out if you knew you weren’t earning anything. You should approach your purchases the same way. Everything you buy should be an investment. This is where the conception began, the conception of Spending Karma.
