Light Pulse

Hate checking to see if your phone has finished charging? Love staring at hypnotic lights for an inappropriate amount of time? Light Pulse has created a charging cable that can show you the rate at which your phone is charging with a constant stream of electroluminescent lights that slow down as your device reaches full battery. Alternatively, you can buy 10 of these bad boys, turn off the lights, and live out your Tron fantasy.

121C Boards: The Spacecraft Inspired Skateboard

Skateboarding meets rocket science. This deck is made from recycled carbon fiber from USC’s Rocket Propulsion Lab. It is lighter than wood, stronger than steel, and has a cooler backstory than your old longboard. Each board saves 5 lbs of carbon fiber from the landfill, which seems like a slightly better use.
