If you’re the type to fervently check your tracking updates after ordering something online, then Route is an app you might want to be familiar with. Route’s AI-powered platform aggregates all of your online purchases, compiles their tracking information into one place and provides you with live updates.

Founded in 2019, Route has tracked more than 175 million packages to date, according to the company. Now, the startup is receiving a fresh investment to expedite its growth goals.

The company announced this week that it cemented its status as a unicorn following the close of its $200 million Series B round. The round was led by an unnamed London-based venture firm and values the company at $1.25 billion.

Route’s app does more than keep tabs on your latest incoming pair of shoes. It also actively suggests other products you might be interested in buying as well. Have a package that was lost, stolen or damaged? You can report any problems in the app with Route Resolve.

The relatively young startup has already seen much success, Route counts more than 11,000 brands as partners, according to the company.

“Consumers now more than ever want transparency around online ordering and hold brands to higher standards,” Evan Walker, founder and CEO of Route, said in a statement. “We’ve demystified the post-purchase experience by communicating with users at every step of the customer journey.”

Following the latest raise, Route will look to move beyond the world of package tracking. The company plans to launch several new products with an aim to simplify nearly every corner of the e-commerce industry. Route also plans to aggressively hire for its team as it continues to scale. In addition to its Salt Lake City headquarters, the company has offices located in LA, New York and Miami.

Route is currently looking to more than double the size of its LA-based team. Fifty-six positions are now available across the company’s sales, engineering and product management teams, to name a few.

The company has raised $248.5 million in venture capital financing to date, according to Crunchbase. Additional investors Eldridge, Madrona Venture Group and Riot Ventures participated in the round.
