Cannabis tech company LeafLink inks $35 million in a Series B. LeafLink, headquartered in New York City and Los Angeles, is an online marketplace for cannabis brands and retailers. LeafLink announced it reached 1 billion in annualized orders, making it the largest marketplace for wholesale cannabis orders in the US. [Built In NYC]

Sidecar Health raised $18 million to offer health care plans with more transparency for its members. Sidecar Health, an El Segundo-based company that provides customizable health insurance to customers, will use the funds to carry out a national rollout that begins in Texas, according to Finsmes.
