Neural Analytics adds $10M to help understand brain conditions

LA-based Neural Analytics announced this morning they have raised $10 million.

The company, which develops medical devices that help identify brain injuries and disorders, is collecting data critical to the ongoing mission to understand how the brain responds to stress, disease and injury. Their ultrasound platform, Lucid System, is designed to measure and display cerebral blood flow velocities while monitoring patients with brain disorders.

“The additional round of funding will allow Neural Analytics to expand commercialization efforts for the Lucid System both in the U.S. and Europe and continue our ongoing research efforts to achieve earlier diagnosis for brain health conditions,” Chief Executive Officer Leo Petrossian, Ph.D., said in a statement.

This funding, led by Reimagined Ventures, brings the company's total amount raised to date to $27 million. Currently, the startup is conducting a feasibility study in Tennessee for patients suffering an acute ischemic stroke.
