The Lead Analyst, People Technology will apply expertise in Workday HCM configuration, reporting, data governance and metric tracking to deliver impactful and significant improvements to drive business decisions. As part of the People Technology team you will build an understanding of people data and processes and find opportunities to improve the current processes and reporting landscape, enable self service reporting, identify and track operational metrics. This role will partner with the various areas of the team to build thoughtful reports/dashboards that will help the team better understand operational gaps and improvements.
What you'll do:

  • Provides guidance and solutions for HCM system administration
  • Lead the development, testing configuration, and implementation of new projects and enhancements
  • Support configuration and troubleshooting in Workday
  • Build a roadmap for Workday Reporting in consultation with PeopleTech and Business teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the development of reports and dashboards
  • Perform security impact analysis due to change requests or Workday upgrades
  • Enable partners on how to use and get curated insights from reporting solutions
  • Build informative and impactful analytics using Workday's analytical suite of technologies (Advanced, Matrix, Worksheet, Composite etc.)
  • Perform daily/weekly audits in Workday to ensure data integrity
  • Support operations team in day to day metric tracking activities & buildouts
  • Identify and build reports and dashboards for various metrics
  • Prioritize requests and collaborate with functional owners to ensure report requirements are met in a timely fashion
  • Perform performance tuning of complex reports for optimal usage of Workday resources
  • Recommend improvement opportunities and continuously innovate across the Workday reporting solutions
  • Responsible for BIRT reporting and statements
  • Assist team with complex calculated field for use across Workday
  • Maintain test scripts and coordinate Workday updates.
  • Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality
  • Engage with Workday Community to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs


What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Workday configuration and reporting tools
  • Workday tool training/certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Workday functional modules
  • Demonstrated proficiency with analytics tools including Excel, Google spreadsheet etc.
