We are looking for a thought leader to direct the evolution of the Cirrus Data Platform. As a Technical Product Owner, you would work with FLYR leadership and airline experts to define the scope and capabilities of the Data Platform. You will work with your dedicated engineering team to deliver new products and enhancements that unlock new Cirrus capabilities and evolve the FLYR Canonical Data Model to meet the needs of new FLYR products for airlines. Key responsibilities will include defining and maintaining a product roadmap, defining detailed feature specifications, capturing client requests and monitoring product value and effectiveness.

What will your destination look like at FLYR? (Responsibilities)

  • Work with our data scientists and software engineers to understand the finer details of the airline ecosystem and revenue performance 
  • Define new opportunities to expand the Cirrus Canonical Data Model to address the needs of FLYR products 
  • Define new opportunities to make the Cirrus Canonical Data Model faster and more efficient
  • Coordinate and direct product priorities across product teams 
  • Develop and execute a product roadmap to deliver continuous upgrades and enhancements

What should you pack for this trip? (Qualifications & Requirements)

  • 5+ years experience building and/or managing data products, schema definitions or pipelines.
  • Experience building or working with airline revenue management systems
  • Experience with product lifecycle methodologies from idea to launch
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional time management skills
  • Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Skills Challenge - An opportunity to show off their talents! Candidates are asked to complete a short work prompt that assesses the skills that relate to the role they have applied for
  • Onsite/Virtual Onsite - A series of meetings with the hiring team/team members to finalize our evaluation of each candidate
