About the Role:

We are looking for a Director of Operational Excellence to drive and deliver lasting and scalable results. Projects involve measuring and analyzing current processes, improving operational efficiency, productivity, performance, and identifying and implementing new processes. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented, data and numbers driven leader with both strategic and operational experience in a high-growth organization.

What you will do:

  • Leads projects and working teams to deliver expected results.
  • Applies continuous improvement tools and techniques, as well as other Lean Six Sigma principles and tools, toward a variety of projects
  • Build and own process/cost model
  • Create end-to-end Value Stream Mapping and data collection plans to scope and identify opportunities that positively impact up-stream and down-stream partners.
  • Works with local team members to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities
  • Works with BPO leaders as a "thought leader" to create future state improvement roadmaps with clear executable plans that are in line with the business strategies improvement needs
  • Works with local team members to instill effective daily work management behaviors, such as daily metric review
  • Contributes toward building a grass-roots culture of continuous improvement
  • Participation in Communities of Practice, leading of Lean/Six Sigma training classes, documentation of business processes and completion of required continued learning.

What you can bring:

  • Bachelor degree in science, business or related field
  • Must be Six Sigma Certified Black Belt or Lean Practitioner Certified
  • 10+ years of demonstrated understanding and experience in continuous improvement, process management, or system thinking
  • Experience with Revenue Cycle
  • Experience in data collection and analysis for Master Black Belt projects
  • Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methods and proven ability to leverage them to achieve business results
  • Experience in transactional business processes or operations
  • Demonstrated experience leading change
  • Ability to influence business leaders
  • Start Up experience
  • Ability to make decisions and collaborate across business units and functional areas
  • Passionate, high energy and results-oriented
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats: formal presentations, meetings, conference calls, e-mails, and memos

Preferred qualifications

  • Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt highly desired
  • MBA or advanced degree desired
  • Management in leading, training and coaching high performing Lean Six Sigma teams is a plus
