Key Initiatives

  • Proactively lead our efforts to create strategies, plans, and processes to ensure that we have the right people in the right places at the right time.
  • Build on current recruiting model and practices to further refine our talent acquisition strategies so that our ability to source and hire high quality talent is a competitive advantage.
  • Develop and implement talent retention strategies, leveraging employee and Procore alumni feedback, as well as industry best practices.
  • Lead internal movement and placement and associated processes so all employees and managers are clear on how internal career movement happens. This should become a key aspect of our employment brand.

This person will report the Head of People and will work closely with her to:

  • Collaborate with leadership across the organization to ensure consistent experience across recruiting, onboarding, training, development, and transition to Procore alumni
  • Define and develop career ladders for all functions, consult with managers to expand and formalize job families and documented career paths
  • Develop succession planning strategies and integrate executive searches to align with succession plans and talent gaps
  • Develop creative, flexible, and fair programs for relocation for new hires and their families
  • Develop alternative labor strategies and recommendations (e.g. outsourced, contingent workforce, acquihire) in coordination with Recruiting leadership
  • Develop plans to support international expansion to support Procore’s business needs
  • Identify areas for development with regards to scale in acquiring, developing, and retaining talent; maintaining Procore’s culture through talent strategies; and organizational design
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development team to:
    • Formalize and expand mentorship programs (external and internal)
    • Integrate L&D initiatives into succession plans, career ladders, and talent management program
  • Partner with Recruiting leadership, bringing industry expertise and best practices to:
    • Support the evolution of our employment brand that attracts top talent, excites the current team, and captures Procore’s culture and vision
    • Partner on the development of our Inclusion and Diversity program
    • Work with Recruiting and Financial Planning & Analysis to refine hiring models and headcount forecasting plans – translate these models into workforce planning and pipeline strategies
    • Continuously refine the means by which we define and evaluate culture fit

The successful candidate will have:

  • 10-20 years of talent acquisition and management experience
  • Has participated in scaling a technical company to 100+ employees
  • 5+ years of experience devising and leading talent strategy in a fast-growth tech environment, previous experience in a Saas company preferred
  • Experience with employment branding, innovative sourcing strategies, and building robust pipeline of diverse talent
  • Passion about data and metrics, and experience creating and managing a context of decision-oriented data
  • Experience working and partnering with engineers and technical teams and/or a technical environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Expertise with implementation and integration of ATS’s and HRIS’s
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience regarding immigration matters a plus
  • Experience with a variety of candidate assessments
  • Global talent management experience highly desirable
  • Public and private company experience is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
