Why is the Accounting Team important to Beachbody?

Our Finance and Accounting team are the financial stewards of our global fitness brand. From ensuring that correct commissions get paid out to our Coaches to maintaining the bottom line for profitability, this all-important team ensures that Beachbody continues to experience exponential growth.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to report directly to the Senior Manager of Treasury and Accounting at the corporate headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.

In this role you will be actively involved in the financial reporting process, account reconciliation, payment and deposit execution, and will assist with the analysis and maintenance of numerous accounts on the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.

What you will be doing at Beachbody as a Treasury & Accounting Analyst?

• Preparation, analysis, and monthly reconciliation of all Cash, Investment, Liability, and Hedge Derivative accounting activity.
• Process payments and deposits across a global bank account structure and compile the weekly cash position report for distribution to Senior Management.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare adjusting journal entries and document business transactions.
• Assist in establishing internal controls surrounding the tasks performed, as well as, perform other related analysis and special projects as assigned.
• Motivated to learn areas such as FX, hedge accounting, investments, debt.

• BA or BS with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the General Ledger and Trial Balance, as well as the ability to formulate and implement well thought out solutions to day-to-day issues with minimal supervision.
• Team player that can thrive in a fast paced environment, with excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills and Oracle experience a plus.
