TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER

MomentFeed is a digital marketing SaaS platform that connects brands and consumers at the local level. The platform empowers major brands including Starbucks, Burger King, and Jamba Juice to capture local audiences, engage with consumers in authentic and locally relevant ways, and measure campaign performance down to the point of sale.

We are currently looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our Professional Services organization. This is a management role with a leading SaaS startup in the heart of Silicon Beach. We are looking for someone with technical experience who is comfortable working directly with clients in a team environment. This role is highly visible within a growing team.

YOU WILL

• Manage and lead a team of technical resources to delivery high quality solutions
• Ensure that all technical work products are delivered on time and meet or exceed client expectations
• Set standards for functional requirements and technical specifications; provide role modeling for creation and review of these documents
• Develop and/or manage custom technical work products such as custom reports, API adapters, SSO integrations, and location landing pages
• Develop standards, processes and quality review for technical work product testing
• Manage multiple technical projects in varying phases of implementation simultaneously
• Become an expert on the MomentFeed platform and how it empowers brands to better connect with their customers locally and socially
• Work directly with client IT and business users to define technical work products
• Actively identify additional solution components to help achieve clients’ objectives
• Collaborate with client team participants and MomentFeed staff across departments (including Product Management and Development, Client Success Services, Managed Services)
• Achieve quarterly project completion targets

YOU MUST HAVE

• Experience in SaaS implementation technical project management (2+ years)

• At least five years overall experience in software customization, application integration

• Technical expertise in SQL reporting, web page development, API development
• Experience with SDLCs – Agile and Waterfall
• Familiarity with relational databases, query tools, cloud architecture
• Proven pro-active technical team leader and self-starter with the ability to drive decisions and consensus, and to resolve issues
• Proven ability to make sound professional judgments and to effectively communicate those to client executives
• Ability to manage challenging clients and maintain a strong position for MomentFeed
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in order to liaise between the user community, executive sponsors and the technical team
• Excellent presentation skills and polished/professional demeanor
• Undergraduate degree in computer sciences or related field; graduate degree a plus
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast paced evolving environment
• Ability to travel to client sites (approximately 10% travel)
