Candidates with previous experience internal technical recruiting are highly preferred. This is a full lifecycle recruiter role responsible for sourcing through offer negotiation and close.

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately. Some travel is required (~5%).

What you’ll do:

• Guide candidates through hiring process with special focus on candidate experience from sourcing through offer acceptance
• Consult with hiring managers and executives to meet hiring plans
• Proactively meet with hiring teams to understand evolving business needs and candidate profiles; create tailored recruiting strategies to address candidate pipeline needs
• Provide regular status reports and metrics to hiring managers
• Identify opportunities for recruiting process improvement, marketing and advertising to specialized candidates, and contribute to the continued success of Procore’s Recruiting team
• Represent Procore at internal and external recruiting related events

Successful candidates will:

• Have 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle internal recruiting for engineering teams, including but not limited to: Full Stack, Front End (JavaScript), Back End (Ruby on Rails), DevOps, and Quality Assurance (QA).
• You’re passionate about technology and developing a deep understanding of our technical challenges, languages, and ability to communicate these to candidates while evaluating their experience
• Understand the ins and outs of LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing and search strategies, and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Enjoy working in a constantly evolving environment; this role is a combination of independent work with a highly collaborative team
• Have a developed project management skill set - this position requires managing conflicting priorities, changing needs and deadlines, as well as long term strategic initiatives
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - a combination of tact and sensitivity is required
• Be self-motivated and assertive; this role must seek out people, answers, and drive solutions
• Possess a sense of humor and exude a calm and collected presence in the face of challenging situations
