Stock Plan Administrator (Temporary)

We’re looking for a temporary Stock Plan Administrator to join Snap Inc! You’ll play a key role in managing Snapchat’s global equity incentive programs, with a focus on global tax compliance and regulations. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with teams throughout the company to develop creative solutions to tough challenges. This is a temporary role.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the development of our Global Stock Equity Administration Program, which includes:
- Inputting grants and integrating them into the Shareworks system
- Processing company-wide RSU release exercises
- Overseeing payroll reporting of reportable gains recognized on exercises and releases
- Assisting with mobility tracking and calculations of source income
- Initiating and overseeing all transactions with the Stock Transfer Agent, including DWAC
- Maintaining stock “roll forward” integrity
- Ensuring accuracy of all equity-equivalent record keeping
- Acting as liaison between employees, brokers, and transfer agents, as needed
- Collaborating with payroll personnel to ensure that all equity-related, inter-company entries and settlements are recorded quickly and accurately
- Coordinate global equity-related regulatory compliance (including tax, securities laws, and other applicable rules and regulations)
- Manage all required filings — including assisting with quarterly preparation of all stock compensation-related disclosures, coordinating equity-specific inputs to proxy filings, as well as overseeing month-end responsibilities, merger and acquisition-related equity activities, equity roll forward, reconciliations, and more, as needed
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of stock administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with excellent academic credentials related to finance or accounting
- Experience with US federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation
- General knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- A detail-oriented, business-friendly team player with the ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
