We are getting ready to launch and scale a stealth Digital B2B Marketplace startup, ready to transform the recycling space. Financially backed and operationally supported by one of the largest family owned industrial goods companies in Europe and BCGDV, this startup is well positioned to disrupt the $300 billion global recycling market, infusing cutting edge technology into an industry primed for innovation.
 
Reporting to the CEO, this role will provide the ideal candidate an extraordinary opportunity to work closely with the executive leadership team and own the end to end success of this disruptive startup. 
 
As a Sr. Strategy and Marketing Manager, you will use your skills to:
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy for merQbiz
  • Deconstruct market regions and build the strategy for the global expansion of merQbiz
  • Develop fully integrated go-to-market plans, strategies, KPIs and marketing budget
  • Leverage knowledge of digital and offline marketing strategies / tools to drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Be agile and iterative in your approach, and relentless in your search for growth
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business development, product, operations and engineering to identify marketing opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
As a Sr. Strategy and Marketing Manager, you will need:
  • A passion for and experience in building, bringing to market, and scaling digital products and services
  • Ability to deconstruct market dynamics at a regional level and a global level and define strategies to tap into potential opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to help us shape our growth initiatives and company
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend and take actions
  • 3-5 years of total experience across corporate strategy and marketing in traditional and digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related, MBA or Masters preferred
  • Previous strategy / marketing experience in an industrial or B2B company a plus
  • Previous strategy / marketing experience in a digital marketplace company a plus
