ROLE SUMMARY: 
Dollar Shave Club (DSC) is looking for a Senior Manager of Regulatory. This role will provide global regulatory expertise and execution for the information/dossier development, product registration and product lifecycle management for all DSC products. The Senior Manager/Director or Regulatory will have a key technical role in regulatory reviews and compliance relating to raw materials with applicable regulations in North America and beyond. The ideal candidate will be someone with exemplary written and verbal communication skills who will be able to provide timely and accurate regulatory advice to stakeholders across the organization and will be someone excited to help shape and optimize regulatory review processes and policy at DSC. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain awareness of emerging issues and changing regulatory landscapes and provide proactive education and advice to key stakeholders 
• Maintain all regulatory files for DSC products and create and optimize efficient processes for regulatory review and approval for new products and claims 
• Provide regulatory support and solutions to the product development team, legal team and creative teams for all DSC products (including ingredient reviews, claims review & testing, stability testing, current regulations, packaging, artwork reviews, quality assurance, corporate initiatives) 
• Manage local consultants or subject matter regulatory consultants that help with specialized regulatory research 
• Generate regulatory documents and required reports to fit local and global specifications and ensure regulatory compliance for all DSC products 
• Coordinate with manufacturers, internal partners and testing labs as
  applicable for quality assurance issues

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• B.S. Chemistry, Pharmacy or related scientific field
• 8-10 years of industry experience, either in pharmaceutical CMC and/or CPG
• In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for various cosmetic and OTC products. Experience across all consumer product categories. Strong technical/science-based background required. Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance required
• Skilled verbal and written communicator with diverse audiences, including senior management, employees and government officials
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams, ability to summarize and communicate regulatory issues to colleagues outside of regulatory function. Critical thinker able to assess regulatory and business risk and propose creative and workable solutions
• Organized person with proven ability to introduce and optimize regulatory review and approval processes and policies within a growing organization
• Ability to multi-task and pivot between multiple regulatory
