Job Description
OpenX is looking for a programmatic media veteran to join the Demand Services team. This team will interface with the managed client services and sales teams of OpenX's Demand Side Platform partners. Value will be driven for DSPs by presenting and creating educational materials on industry trends, best practices, and new OpenX products that result in a more educated workforce. Value will be created for OpenX by new revenue driving actions from the managed clients services teams and client facing sales teams as a direct result of these meetings and overall engagement. This individual will work both internally and externally to build and execute engagement plans relevant to different DSP business models and market strategies. Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of the OpenX monetization suite of products and how demand partners can most effectively engage with those various products.
- Establish and support a deep understanding of competitive products and overall impact on programmatic ecosystem.
- Create educational curriculums to guide meetings with DSP teams and deliver actionable education sessions.
- Operate cross functionally with internal and external subject matter experts as well as product marketing to create curriculums.
- Develop and execute action plans to drive deep levels of engagement with clients managed services and sales teams through strategic plans, educational sessions, and joint team outings
- Drive revenue through the sale of OpenX publisher private marketplace packages, and work with internal teams to develop compelling packages based on market feedback
- Evangelize the strength and quality of OpenX's inventory and product offerings
Key Metrics:
- A demonstrated ability to provide value to demand partners measured by the partners willingness to take repeat meetings
- Revenue driven through PMP deals with DSP managed and client services teams
- New brand revenue driven through programmatic advertising in an open auction environment
- Capability to gather and quantify market trends, data, and intelligence
- Impact on generating new product offerings and opportunities for closer engagement.
- Aptitude to become a subject matter expert internally and externally across OpenX's product suite.
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in digital and programmatic advertising across display, mobile, and video channels
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results for the business
- Detail oriented with the ability to tell the "story" of a product or offering in a clear and concise manner
- At least 5+ years of digital advertising experience
- Ability to pre-empt issues and be proactive in producing solutions
- Practical experience supporting and servicing clients using advertising products and technology
- Hands-on experience with ad tech platforms such as DSPs, SSPs, ad servers and ad networks
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills – both internally and externally
- Experience managing multiple projects to tight deadlines and with great attention to detail
- Diligent work ethic with excellent organization, project/time management, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment
