Software Engineer, Computer Vision Test Automation

We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Computer Vision Automation to join Team Snapchat! Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the computer vision software development process. Collaborating with development teams, you’ll analyze and improve performance, identify bugs, and automate tests for all possible scenarios. You’ll help support our automation framework by creating and implementing new tools to benchmark our computer vision software.
What you’ll do:
- Create computer vision test environments using software and hardware tools
- Develop test procedures and metrics, carry out tests, and isolate issues
- Lead test efforts for new computer vision features
- Automate test cases using scripting languages, such as Python
- Develop scripts and applications using Android and iOS tools, such as ADB or Xcode
- Implement continuous testing infrastructure, continuously developing new test frameworks for Android and iOS
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience in software quality assurance or software testing and automation
- BS/MS in a related field
- Experience working with computer vision
- Hands-on experience with software tools used for development and testing (Android Studio, Xcode, Visual Studio, etc.)
- Experience with continuous integration concepts
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Deep knowledge and interest in the latest developments in mobile and web technologies
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A team player who enjoys working with others
- Someone who loves to learn new things
- A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
