The shipping and receiving clerk position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.

Duties:

• Monitor loading and unloading of truck
• Oversee delivery of mail and packages to 200-500 employees
• Prepare necessary documents for easy tracking of shipments
• Box/crate & Ship/mail packages
• Load biweekly trucks to test sites
• Keep track of inventory for shipment
• Verify shipment with purchase order and other documents
• Prepare shipping documents for products that are scheduled to ship
• Store goods in the warehouse according to the company's standards
• Arrange for domestic and international shipping
• Keep track of shipment and update customers regarding the same
• Hand over necessary documents with instructions to truck drivers

Skills required:

• 2+ years of experience with the topics below
• Knowledge of safety rules and shipping procedures
• Knowledge of Rigging and safely secure loads on trucks
• Can load a truck properly by weight and dimensions
• Excellent time management skills and a team player
• Skilled in sorting, checking, counting and verifying materials
• Can perform light maintenance work
• Skilled in maintaining and updating records
• Must have Valid Class C Drivers License 
• Ability to operate forklift trucks, pneumatic nail guns and other power equipment
• Expert in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and customized database software
