Position Summary
The US R&D PMO organization is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager who thrives on working with data and analytics in a fast-growing team. This position will be responsible for owning and driving projects in the US Big Data organization and will work closely with the Data Engineering & Business Intelligence functions as well as global stakeholders such as internal product teams, legal, security and AI organizations. You will be responsible for leading cross functional projects in addition to operating as a Scrum Master for the Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in data engineering and business analytic skills.
Job Responsibilities

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance customer and business needs
  • Create processes, mechanisms, and tools that shape the delivery of multiple technical projects across US Big Data
  • Own regular communication and reviews with senior management and stakeholders on status, risks and change control for projects
  • Own defining, measuring and tracking metrics for project success


  • Promote Agile values, principles and practices within the teams
  • Drive and own responsibilities of Scrum Master for the US Big Data organization
  • Schedule, manage and facilitate scrum events
  • Facilitate meetings and communication between product owner stakeholders and development team members to ensure the highest value work is top priority in the backlog
  • Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team
  • Manage development team backlog, work prioritization, assignment, and tracking in Jira
  • Create, manage and publish team metrics and reporting from Jira
  • Assist in the administration of Jira


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
  • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Elastic Search, Kafka, data pipeline, Jira Query Language (JQL) and Confluence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams


Nice to Have

  • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I & II (PSM)
  • Professional Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred


Pay : $97,700.00 min - $160,700.00 max annually, Bonus & RSU offered
