Senior Geofilter Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior Geofilter Specialist to join Team Snapchat! Working closely with the Customer Operations team, you will be responsible for the creative curation and troubleshooting of Snapchat’s Community Geofilters—a product that allows artists and designers to submit fun and creative Geofilters for their city, university, local landmark, or other public location. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with our Product and Ad Review teams to establish submission guidelines, contribute to product development, and support processes.
What you'll do:
- Curate and activate Community Geofilters
- Utilize map data to create accurate Geofences for the Community Geofilter flight area
- Influence product and process by providing bug reports and suggesting performance improvements for internal tools
- Serve as the subject expert regarding creative and legal guidelines for the Community Geofilter product
- Reach millions of daily Snapchat users while aiming to create the best possible experience for Community Geofilter usage and performance
- Identify trends and prioritize Geofilter requests in high-growth markets
- Provide great support for Community Geofilter user inquiries
- Develop and mentor Geofilter specialists
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BS degree from a 4-year accredited college or university (preferred, but not required)
- 3+ years work experience in a related content or design field
- Previous management experience or leadership skills are preferred
- Proficient with Google products (Maps, Translate, Drive Suite)
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Effective communicator and cross-team collaborator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills, and able to interact with team members throughout the company
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Flexible work-hours; full-time and weekends as needed
- Passion for Snapchat, and creating a fun and creative user experience
