The Role

We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to join the finance team at Wpromote. We are a fast growing company that is expanding geographically and into new service lines. The new Revenue Accountant will be responsible for providing technical expertise in revenue recognition to meet GAAP requirements. The ideal candidate will be extremely hands-on and detail oriented to assist with monthly invoicing, revenue reporting, analysis, monthly closing and audit. We are looking for a CPA with strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to influence change through written and verbal communications are imperative.

You Will Be

• Collaborating with departments regarding accurate revenue and invoicing data as verified in contracts
• Ensuring compliance with revenue recognition requirements per GAAP
• Measuring and documenting project percentage of completion
• Understand credit card booking and reconciliations
• Supporting monthly close
• Assisting with annual audit
• Working with external accountants
• Maintaining relationship with clients regarding payment and invoicing disputes
• Working closely with revenue colleague and entire finance team
• Helping shape process and controls

You Must Have

• CPA required
• 7-10+ years experience
• Revenue recognition experience, specifically ASC 605 and 606
• Strong technical accounting background and excellent documentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of management
• Familiarity with Quickbooks, Mavenlink and Harvest
• Strong Excel and Google apps skills
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
