Summary

The Grindr team is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic receptionist to engage, schedule, and represent Grindr in a positive light to our guests. As the first point of contact within Grindr, you will always be contributing to the Grindr brand and act as a gracious host to our guests. You will set an example of our culture with every communication and interaction and help with the overall daily flow of our growing organization. Above all, you will be responsible for Grindr’s most valuable asset - our people.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests entering into the Grindr offices, manning the reception area and desk during business hours. Provide parking validations to all guests, working directly with building security on daily guest list.
• Assists with scheduling guests and vendors, ensuring conference rooms are booked. Notifying team members when their guests arrive.
• Assist the Talent Acquisition team with scheduling candidates and contributing to a positive candidate experience.
• Be a gracious host to our guests and candidates; ensure every guest and candidate that visits Grindr has a unique and positive experience
• Ensure all guests who visit Grindr sign an NDA through Envoy. Manage storage of all NDAs in Box.
• Assist Grindr team members with shipping letters and packages. Sign for packages and deliveries to the office.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of work experience in a customer or client facing role
• Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and have exceptional follow-up skills
• Excellent communication skills; you’re a conversational wizard and can engage all types of guests over the phone and via email
• World-class problem-solving, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Maintain a professional appearance; language and dress
• Upbeat, high-energy personality – always smiling! A huge bonus!
