Summary
Grindr is searching for a rock star Project Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a smart, self-motivated candidate to join Grindr’s internal marketing team on the ground floor as we rapidly expand to support our growing business. We’re on the hunt for a whip-smart marketer with a can-do attitude. Attention to detail, compulsive follow through, and effective communication will be crucial for this position. This position plays an integral role in driving strategic, editorial, and creative integration across Grindr's new publishing platform, INTO by engaging their seasoned project management skills and ensuring there is alignment across the team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary support for all day-to-day operations of INTOeditorial team to fulfill business goals and objectives
- Partner with Director of Marketing Production and Editor in Chief to manage the ongoing operations of an editorial publishing department within the great Grindr marketing team.
- Act as hub of communication and project management between manager, creative and various internal departments to ensure projects and tasks are completed within deadlines
- Responsible for partner and vendor management, program management and budget management for publishing and promotions activity. Develops, manages and tracks budgets, timelines and processes from kick-off to execution
- Establishes and maintains processes to ensure effective and timely development and execution of programs within defined budget constraints
- Responsible for clearly communicating timing and process throughout the development of the integrated advertising and marketing strategies
- Communicates execution plans and activities with other business units, departments and teams on a regular basis to ensure integration and support for programs and initiatives.
- Ensures that established processes are communicated, understood and followed by key stakeholders
- Manages relationships with internal and external teams, agencies and vendors to develop integrated customer communications materials
- Multi-tasker extraordinaire; ability to identify the common goal and the many paths to success
Requirements
- 4+ years of project management experience in a marketing or publishing environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Strong time management and experience with budgets
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills
