The manufacturing team is currently looking for a Junior Production Engineer, the main responsibility is to engage primarily in the production of Hyperloop assemblies and products. The main job is to ensure that all assemblies and products are manufactured to quality and safety standards with approved work methods according to planned protocols and production deadlines using the appropriate manufacturing technology. 

Responsibilities

• Engage with technicians, create manufacturing process, group development and operations in supporting the implementation of new product and manufacturing technology
• Emphasis on ramping to steady state production and leading ongoing improvement activity
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience
• Experience with both in-house and outside vendor contract
• Experience with NPI and manufacturing technologies 
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment
• Bachelors in Engineering
