The Automation & Manufacturing Division is responsible to develop the processes and equipment that will build Hyperloop One. Ultimately, we will bring fully integrated and highly automated manufacturing systems online, turning product innovations into reality. We are seeking candidates with various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Los Angeles facility.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex manufacturing problems
• Work with our internal design teams on DFM, DFA and process definition
• Cultivate and manage external suppliers of machinery and piece parts
• Manage cost and schedule for in-house and external manufacturing
• Plan and set-up production lines for critical Hyperloop elements
• Manage production line operation and throughput
• Develop manufacturing and quality standards

Requirements

• BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing
• Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of automated manufacturing techniques
• Proficient in gaging and inspection techniques
• Proficient in utilizing CAD systems
