DAY TO DAY
- Own and maintain our HR systems (we use Zenefits) and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage compliance with regulatory agencies (EEOC, OSHA, etc.), and stay up to date on federal, state, and local labor laws to make sure we're always one step ahead.
- Manage the administration of benefits plans, leaves of absence (FMLA/CFRA/PFL, STD, etc.), and on- and offboarding.
- Act as a trusted liaison with any outside agencies (EDD, IRS, etc.) to coordinate on employees’ and MeUndies’ behalf.
- Build strong relationships across MeUndies, and a reputation as a trusted partner that team members can come to for questions and concerns with confidence and comfort.
- Regularly help assess company-wide policy and compensation and ensure we're always doing the right thing.
- Own benefits administration (new hire onboarding, enrollments, Zenefits point of contact).
- Serve as the go-to contact for ad hoc People Ops requests (payroll questions, HRIS support, workers’ comp claims, etc).
YOU
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a People Ops or HR-focused position.
- Are super organized, and are extremely proactive; you never have to be asked twice to follow up on something, and nothing ever slips through the cracks.
- Are familiar with benefits (health, 401ks, etc.) and how to administer them.
- Have experience communicating with various government groups (e.g. EDD).
- Have familiarity with HR best practices.
- Have a demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and extremely sound judgement.
- Are compassionate, and genuinely care about people.
- Have amazing communication skills.
- Love the MeUndies brand, and believe in what we’re trying to accomplish.
