Paid Search Strategist
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be responsible for managing key clients Paid Search and Search Retargeting accounts. Daily responsibilities include account creation, optimizations, reporting, pacing and internal/client feedback. In addition to account management, this role will develop and evolve the Search strategy across accounts, create plans/timelines to execute approach, run tests on new beta opportunities as well as educate Coordinators on advanced Search tactics.
ABOUT THE PAID SEARCH TEAM
Centro’s Paid Search Team is a specialized group of search engine marketing experts. We provide full service execution of paid search campaigns including, competitor research, keyword development, ad copy, account management and reporting.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-level understanding and best practices of Paid Search and Search Retargeting
- Present Centro’s Search Solutions to partner agencies and potential clients
- Provide insights, data and analysis to help develop presentations
- Attend strategy meetings and client calls
- Guide strategic approach to develop keyword and ad copy builds
- Optimize accounts on a regular basis to meet goals and improve campaign performance
- Analyze accounts for new opportunities and develop/maintain project plans that meet client’s needs
- Run tests on new beta and product offerings, report on learnings
- Train Coordinators on advanced features, products and betas
- Identify internal process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Interface with Client Services team on all campaigns
- Become a positive and influential presence for the Search team internally and with agency partners
- Some travel to regional offices and client meetings

YOU ARE RIGHT FOR THIS JOB IF:- 2+ years’ experience with paid search executions
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
- Experience executing daily management of campaigns for Paid Search based on strategic approach and recommendations
- Ability to clearly articulate strategy and recommendations in a clear, professional manner via verbal and written communications to internal teams and clients on an as needed basis
- Great experience and advanced knowledge of AdWords, AdCenter, and Editor Tools
- Familiarity with Kenshoo or similar Paid Search Technologies
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of SEO and analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics)
