You will be responsible for supporting and improving network operations for our hyper-scale hybrid cloud network, driving efficiency and reliability, in a fast-paced and constantly scaling environment. You are a technology driven individual, continuously learning and expanding your subject matter knowledge.
What You'll Do:

  • Support the development, testing and integration of new hardware and software platforms
  • Participate in and improve escalations and incident response. Own the full incident lifecycle including post mortems to address issues and prevent future occurrences
  • Leverage in depth metrics and telemetry to improve awareness and response, anticipate potential operational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent. Manage and evolve the data over time to match changes to the infrastructure and business needs, reduce costs and continuously improve engineering efficiency
  • Build cross-functional relationships across Network Engineering, TechOps and the various service partners we support, to continue to deliver the best network operations experience possible

  • 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining large scale, complex data center network infrastructure
  • Comfort working in a fast moving organization and enjoy digging into operational problems in order to implement the process enhancement and technical solutions to solve them, and are able to quickly learn and pick up new domain expertise and technologies
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting the Linux network stack and various service-related network issues
  • In depth hands-on experience using packet capture tools (tcpdump, wireshark...etc), and analyzing the results, to assist/expedite the troubleshooting of network issues
  • Experience working with a global team to collaborate and manage operations around the clock
  • 5+ years of experience working with large scale IP networking technologies and protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, eVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSec, DNS, MACsec, MPLS (TE, Auto-BW), and CLOS Architectures
