Want to work for an exciting and rapidly growing online lending startup in the Residential Real Estate space? We’re looking for a Loan Processor/Underwriter who will be primarily responsible for underwriting residential and owner occupied loans. This person will also work closely with title/escrow companies and other third parties in order to efficiently close loan transactions.

This is a customer-centric role so the successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal, organizational and multi-tasking skills. This position is also instrumental in making sure that loans are processed and closed in a timely manner in accordance with our loan processing SLAs and closing procedures. Therefore, the successful candidate will have experience in underwriting residential and owner occupied loans all the way to closing.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Contract position with potential to full-time, ability to work remotely
• 2+ years experience underwriting residential, agency conformable, owner occupied and/or investment product
• Basic understanding of the current regulatory environment in residential lending
• Broad knowledge of mortgage operations from sales to closing
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelors degree a plus, not required
