The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will primarily be responsible for working with management teams to review financial results of PatientPop’s operations, analyze KPIs and business trends, standardize financial data, implement improved businesses processes and provide financial support for operations, as well as develop forecasting and budgeting tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management reports emphasizing operational and financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends.
  • Review monthly and year-to-date financial performance against budget and prior year with the management team
  • Develop and implement new reporting trends and performance indicators that would support long term growth and strategic objectives of PatientPop.
  • Monitor month-end closing activities other monthly or quarterly entries dependent on large amounts of qualitative input from across the company.
  • Develop standardized financial reporting and budgeting models.
  • Facilitate forecasting and budgeting across all departments.
  • Review and analysis of P&Ls.
  • Ongoing analysis of spending and cost controls.
  • Management and dashboard reporting of business metrics (weekly, monthly).
  • Develop and maintain processes throughout the company to ensure integrity, usability, and standardization of financial and key performance metrics across multiple business lines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Five to seven years in budgeting and financial analysis experience.
  • Proven experience managing financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with SaaS, vertical software, and/or online marketing a plus.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence systems a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
  • Exceptional Excel skills (including pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Systems knowledge a plus: Salesforce, Zuora, etc.
  • Ability to make decisions, work under pressure and the capacity to use good judgment in critical situations.
