About the role: 

As the HR/Recruitment  Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and all human resources efforts for the LA office. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. The People Operations Coordinator must be sensitive to employee goodwill and the business needs. This position also helps support the overall day to day office duties of the LA office. 

About you:

  • Experience working with an hourly workforce, preferably in a services industry.
  • Excellent people skills; must possess the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with different levels of employees, specifically within the LA office.
  • Must be Innovative and a self-starter, must be constantly seeking ways to build relationships and improve processes, and taking action to make it happen.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and a high level of trustworthiness and discretion to manage confidential employee information.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding and training of hourly staff of Q Cleaning & Maintenance Operators
  • Function as a People & Culture representative by assisting Los Angeles team in general HR inquiries, employee relations issues, 
  • Ensure state, local, and federal laws are followed in implementing human resources practices including payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation,  and paid time off.
  • Maintain all employee personnel files as well as update HRIS database records ongoing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ work years experience in a fast pace environment 
  • 1+ years experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment as well as  employee relations
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
