HR Coordinator

Responsibilities
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for organization employees; assists in the development and implementation of new policies and procedure while identifying ways to improve current policies and procedures
Supports the recruitment function when needed by sourcing candidates, screening applicants, conducting preliminary interviews and coordinate hiring efforts with our corporate recruiter and channel directors responsible for making the final selection of candidates
Participates in onboarding, processing and tracking of all new hires including the collection and submission of all formal documentation
Record and manage employee information such as, but not limited to, personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance evaluation and termination information
Administration of health and welfare benefits, training and development, employee relations and retention
Identifies key HR metrics; researches and reports on those areas clearly presenting the information
Supports the HR Department in implementing programs to improve the employee experience and engagement
Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
Skills and Experience
2 years of experience and immersion in a HR related field - CA preferred
aPHR/PHR certification is recommended
Knowledge of HR best practices, specifically legal and payroll
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
