We’re looking for a People Ops (HR) Business Partner to strategically support the Branded Content teams. As an HRBP at ATTN:, you will be the go-to partner, advisor and resource for all things human resources for employees, managers, and leaders within the Brand Partnerships, Creative, and Production areas of the business. The ideal candidate has proven success establishing trust and credibility, effectively dealing with employee relations issues, and driving management best practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the go-to HR advisor to our Brand Partnerships (sales/accounts), Creative, and Production teams providing counsel on performance management, organizational design, management coaching, retention, change management, and day to day issues.
  • Serve as a trusted employee resource, developing strong relationships with employees of all levels within the Brand Partnerships, Creative, and Production
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure both employee and business needs are met, while helping to scale our rapidly growing organization.
  • Work closely with managers and coach them on how to set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing and direct feedback.
  • Advise managers through the performance management process on your assigned teams including performance improvement plans and various employee relations issues and terminations.
  • Develop understanding of the unique talent challenges of your assigned team is facing and work with managers to address them.
  • Collaborate with greater People Ops team to drive company-wide initiatives and programs (e.g. learning and development).
  • Interview prospective candidates in-person to assess cultural fit and answer HR-related questions.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of HR experience including handling employee relations issues and implementing management best practices
  • Experience within a production company and/or startup environment
  • Experience working directly with Executives/Business leaders
  • Solid understanding of employment law
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good intuition/judgment, and the ability to influence and communicate to all levels of the organization
