Legacy’s HR department is looking for a talented and enthusiastic HR Administrator to report to our VP of HR in Chicago and grow as Legacy continues to grow. 

Description

The HR Administrator is based in our Calabasas office and responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently, as well as assisting the Human Resources department with various administrative tasks as they arise. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in HR but lacking direct experience so far.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office supplies and special orders, including researching, ordering, inventorying, tracking, and storing products;
  • Coordinate office food orders, including Peapod, monthly birthday cake, weekly breakfasts and lunches, and coffee and coffee supplies; manage the order, pick-up, set up, clean up, and replenishment of all food orders;
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as shipping, copying, performing mail merges, printing mailing labels, and organizing the general office areas;
  • Act as the company’s liaison to building management for maintenance issues such as changing fuses, light bulbs, water problems, and general repairs throughout the office;
  • Coordinate repairs and service calls with third party vendors to ensure printers, copiers, etc. remain in working condition and perform minor repairs as necessary;
  • Assist in planning and executing office and corporate events, including flu shots, company meetings, and company outings
  • Assist with the recruiting and hiring process
  • Design and write monthly company newsletter
  • Assist with the administration of company wellness programs
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • 1-2 years of general office experience
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
  • Ability to diagnose problems and determine effective resolutions
  • Methodical with strong attention to detail
  • Security conscious and discrete.
