Who We Are:

Omaze is an online fundraising platform that’s reinventing charitable giving by making it fun and easy for anyone to give. From once-in-a-lifetime experiences with the world’s most influential people to original t-shirts designed and made with love, everything at Omaze connects influencers, nonprofits and donors in support of incredible causes.

Leveraging storytelling, social media marketing, celebrity influence, data science and exclusive merchandise, we help charities raise more funds and awareness so they can create greater impact than they ever have before.

Our campaigns have benefited over 200 nonprofits—through experiences like winning a walk-on role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and getting interviewed by Jon Stewart, and exclusive t-shirts like Samantha Bee’s “Nasty Woman” and Shailene Woodley’s “I Stand with Standing Rock.” Our incredible community has raised millions for amazing organizations and generated significant awareness by regularly appearing in outlets like the Today Show, Vanity Fair, CNN, Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel and many others.

If your heart is beating faster now than it was before you started reading this, we’d love for you to join our team!

Who We’re Seeking:

A strategic, world-class business leader excited to accelerate Omaze’s growth and drive as much funding as possible to our nonprofit partners.

You will lead the team responsible for partner management in a way that builds, maintains, and grows exceptional partner relationships.  You and your team will also act as a liaison to the internal cross-disciplinary functions to ensure that we consistently deliver the highest quality product.  Success is measured by your operational impact through best-in-class account management, campaign activation, nonprofit partner revenue recognition, and insights.  You are passionate about and driven by serving world-changers who create impact.

The focus of the position is to ensure positive partner experiences and to optimize the strategic value of each relationship for all parties. This is not a sales role, but the role requires a strong understanding of how to drive revenue performance through both long-term partner account management and shorter-term partner campaign management.  In order to succeed in this role, you must be an expert communicator -- both externally and cross-functionally within the organization.  You will oversee campaigns led by your team and will ultimately be accountable for their successful execution.  You should be able to point to a long track record of successfully accomplishing all of the above while maintaining the best possible relationships with your teams.

You must demonstrate a deep understanding of how to manage a team and build enduring value for our partners.  The best candidate will be:

  • Inspirational.  You enjoy leading by example and your team members describe you as the best manager they’ve ever had.  You inspire your team to execute flawlessly day-to-day, while achieving goals and always working toward your long-term vision and strategy.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and creative.  You are able to adapt to the speed of a hyper-growth company that has multiple business lines and stakeholders.
  • Driven by goals.  You are excited to help us scale while ruthlessly prioritizing in order to keep the team focused on the highest-impact activities that will allow us to achieve our ambitious goals of driving significant revenue for our nonprofit partners.
Key responsibilities:
    • Hire, train, manage, and motivate the Partnerships team to set the bar for excellence in the way that we service and drive performance for our partners, both in the short term during a campaign and in the longer term to grow the broader partner relationship.

    • Coach and provide mentorship to the Partnerships team to ensure that partner relationships are managed in a way that produces exceptional campaign performance.

    • Provide excellent service -- both directly (in some cases) and through your team -- to our talent, nonprofit, and brand partners, acting as their internal advocate and demonstrating your deep understanding of their goals.

    • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams -- including Business Development, Brand & Media Partnerships, Marketing, Content, Merchandise, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance -- to ensure alignment around campaign details and priorities.

    • Partner with the Head of Marketing to portfolio manage the slate of campaigns to ensure optimal performance, load-balancing, and appropriate deployment of resources in order to drive the highest donation to nonprofit partners.

    • Set and execute against broader team strategy, including operational process design, project management, capacity planning, training/onboarding programs, performance reviews, team and individual goals, systems/tools, email templates, and more.

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    • You have 8+ years of demonstrated experience successfully managing large, world-class account and campaign management teams.  You thrive on mentoring, coaching, and growing your teams.

    • You have deep experience in the entertainment industry working directly with talent and their teams to execute digital marketing campaigns and/or other types of partnerships

    • You have experience working with account and campaign management teams to ensure that work is measured accurately, effectively, and efficiently and planned and staffed with all deliverables prioritized accordingly.

    • You have flawless communication skills; both verbal and written.

    • You have fantastic attention to detail, you’re hyper-organized, and solutions-oriented.

    • You take your work -- but not yourself -- seriously.
